It’s hard to believe I have been pursing my dream to be an author for over ten years now.
Okay; it’s been thirteen years.
When I read the blog post for today, I thought, ‘this one’s easy. I know exactly where I want to be in ten years’.
Retired from my day job and living in a cabin, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, writing.
My goal is to also begin a mentorship program with Native American high school students, to encourage and create avenues for those who want to pursue a career in the publishing industry. When I was in junior high school, I knew I wanted to be a writer. When I spoke with my guidance counselor my senior year in high school, she laughed in my face and said I would starve to death.
My third goal for the next ten years, is to assist any aspiring writer with the knowledge I have learned over the years.
My goals are simple, yet, an obtainable plan I can strive for.
What about you? Where do you see yourself in the next ten years? Please drop me a line, I would love to know.
Until next time, keep reaching for the stars. Dream do come true!
